Search Engine Optimisation case studies
We're really delighted with our results, and want to share with you some of our recent success stories.
MyCashPlus
Let's start with a pay as you go credit card company in the United Kingdom, MyCashPlus. One of the great things about this particular case is that we were able to perform the work remotely, from almost 17,000km away!
MyCashPlus offers a prepaid MasterCard with it's main marketing and customer acquisition channel being its website. We began this task by identifying which pages within the website really needed Search Engine Optimisation . In most cases, there are often pages which don't really require SEO, like your Privacy Page for example.
For each page selected for SEO, we began researching keywords, which quickly revealed there were a number of highly trafficked and targeted keywords which the website wasn't ranking well for.
The keywords and key phrases we identified from our research were incorporated into the Title Tags, Meta Tags, Headings, and body text. We also cross linked the site with keyphrases in anchor text to promote each page we were optimising for.
Finally, we began a linking campaign to improve the site's in bound link quality.
The results?
MyCashPlus now ranks top 5 at Google UK for:
But most importantly, we've been nearly treble the amount of targetted traffic the website receives, as you can see from the graph below:
Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses
Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses offer delicious cakes and pies (believe us, we know) through 32 of its franchisee stores. They came to see us earlier in the year, wanting to improve their website's search engine rankings. Steve Plarre wanted their website to be associated with all things cakes online !
First off, we performed a full 55 page website audit, giving us the foundations for further SEO work.
Then it was on to further keyword research before a full optimisation campaign across the various important business sections of their site.
Just some of the great results...
Example results below across all major search engines:
We've also taken over their Google AdWords management!
Melbourne Airport
Melbourne Airport wanted to grow their online presence with a particular focus on Airport Parking . Following a full website audit, we began optimising their site in June this year.
Optimising Melbourne Airport's website was particularly challenging as Google began to roll out its new " Universal Search " where local search results, Google Maps, video (mainly from YouTube), news, images, books and more are beginning to influence the top 10 results. You can learn more about Google Universal Optimisation here.
We made sure Melbourne Airport was registered for local search and positioned on Google Maps, giving them excellent visibility across the search results. It also shows users just how far away from the airport Melbourne Airport's Parking competitors are!

Great results for competitive keyphrases below (and you'll see "Google Universal" at work - showing local map results):
